•  Washing

Always wash your yoni egg with warm water and mild soap before your yoni egg practice. Sterilize your egg by boiling it for 20 to 30 minutes. Allow it to cool and pat dry. These steps should apply even with new yoni eggs.

• Insertion

Set up a relaxing environment. Some women light scented candles and essential oils. Once ready, use a generous amount of lube and insert the egg gently. Take your time and do not force the egg in. Start your practice for no more than 20 minutes for Kegel Exercises and up to 2 hours for meditation.

• Removal

If you have a drilled egg, gently pull on the string while bearing down. For those with undrilled eggs, bear down to remove the egg. Some women find it easier to remove the undrilled egg by bearing down while squatting. Wash the egg with mild soap and warm water. Allow to dry before storing it till the next session.
