Cleaning – Always wash your yoni egg with warm water and mild soap. This is important even for yoni eggs that are newly out of their packaging. Always sterilize the egg by boiling it for 20 to 30 minutes before using it.

Insertion – Relax and use an adequate amount of lubrication. Take a deep breath and gently insert the yoni egg into your vagina. Take your time and try not to force it in. After insertion, you can do your yoni egg practice for no more than 15 to 20 minutes a day. You can also meditate during your yoni egg practice. For longer meditation sessions, hold the egg in your hands or place it on your abdomen to connect with your crystal’s energy.

Removal – After your practice session, remove your undrilled egg by bearing down. If you have a drilled yoni egg, you can tug at the string gently to help it out. Once you have removed your egg, wash your yoni egg and pat dry. Store it until your next session.
