Washing – Wash your yoni egg using mild soap and warm water. Rinse the egg with running water. This also applies to yoni eggs fresh out of its packaging. Sterilize the egg by boiling for 20 to 30 minutes and pat dry.

Insertion – Gently insert the egg into your vagina like a tampon. Use an adequate amount of lube during insertion. After insertion, you can do your yoni egg practice for no more than 15 to 20 minutes a day. You can also meditate during your yoni egg practice. For longer meditation sessions, hold the egg in your hands or place it on your abdomen to connect with your crystal’s energy.

Removal – After your practice, you can remove the undrilled egg by bearing down. If you have a drilled yoni egg, gently tug at the string to help the removal process. After removal, wash your yoni egg and store it carefully till your next practice session.
