Washing – Always start by washing your yoni egg using mild soap and warm water even if it is new. Sterilize the egg by boiling it for 20 to 30 minutes before every yoni practice session. 

Insertion – Apply an adequate amount of lubrication. Once ready, take a deep breath and gently insert your yoni egg into your vagina. After insertion, you can start your pelvic floor muscle exercises for no longer than 15 to 20 minutes. 

Removal – Once you finish your practice, remove your undrilled egg by bearing down. If you have a drilled yoni egg, gently pull at the string to help remove the egg. After removal, always wash your yoni egg and pat dry before carefully storing it.
