Besides enhancing your Kegel exercises, some offer sexual stimulation and pleasure. Adjuncts can be made from various types of material. The most common material used is silicone.

Although known as jade eggs, yoni eggs can be made from a wide variety of gemstones. Yoni eggs have the added advantage of working as a healing crystal. Each different type of crystal offers unique benefits. Some women also use the crystal to aid them during meditation. 

What Are Ben Wa Balls?

Popularized by Fifty Shades of Grey, ben wa balls are weights inserted into the vagina. Also known as Kegel balls, they help to train your pelvic floor. The special twist that comes with ben wa balls is that it offers an extra sensation that provides pleasure. Initially designed only for pelvic floor training, they have gotten more popular as a sex toy.

Insertion of ben wa balls involves two balls linked by a silicone string. These balls provide pleasure by stimulating the anterior vaginal wall which is full of nerve endings. This helps to increase arousal, awareness, and sensation when there is movement. 

Made from silicone, metal, and plastic, ben wa balls come in different sizes. Other names for ben wa balls include orgasm balls or Geisha balls. They can be solid or come with clappers or chimes. Those with clappers or chimes move around and are more effective for pleasure.

For this reason, yoni eggs offer additional crystal healing benefits. These metaphysical healing properties can be beneficial during meditation and chakra healing.

There is no right or wrong when it comes to choosing between yoni eggs or ben wa balls. All that matters is your intention when choosing a Kegel adjunct. Both Kegel trainers will be able to enhance your Kegel exercises to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles.
