Yoni Eggs For Beginners

As a beginner, you should ensure you get the first steps right. This will allow you to get the most benefits from your practice. Using your yoni egg as a beginner is not a difficult feat. It should be done properly so as not to create any stress.

Yoni Egg Sizes

Yoni eggs typically come in three sizes-small, medium, and large. You would have chosen an egg suitable for you as a beginner. This would be the medium or large egg.

If you purchased a set of all 3 yoni egg sizes, you can start with the larger egg.

The larger egg might seem more daunting, but it is more beneficial for first-time users. The size of the egg you use depends on the strength of your vaginal muscles. The tighter your muscles, the easier it is to grip a smaller egg.

It is better to start with the larger egg especially if you are not sure how tight your vaginal muscles are. Once you get used to the process, try the medium-sized egg. You will know which one is more comfortable for you, after a couple of sessions.

Cleaning Your Egg

Before using your yoni egg for the first time, ensure it is thoroughly cleaned. To clean your yoni egg wash with soap and warm water.

Once you have cleaned your yoni egg, you are ready to begin your yoni egg practice.

It’s normal to feel uncomfortable or a bit insecure in the beginning. However, keep in mind that the yoni egg will not cause any harm to your vagina if used correctly.

Sacred Space

Ensure you are in a comfortable place for your yoni practice. You must be able to feel completely at ease and relaxed.

You can use a lubricant if you believe you need one. A lubricant helps to soften the tissues of your vagina. This makes it easier for the egg to slip in, without causing any discomfort.

Try to use a natural or water-based lubricant. You can also try organic extra virgin coconut oil. It has excellent antibacterial and antifungal properties.

Warming Up

Lay down in a position that is comfortable for you. Some women prefer a squatting position. Others prefer to stand with one leg elevated on a chair or bed.

You might want to warm up your body by giving yourself a sensual massage to fully tune into your body. This will further relax your body, preparing it to receive the egg.

Warm up your egg by holding it between your hands or rubbing it.

Inserting The Egg

When you feel ready to insert your egg, take a few breaths to relax your body. Using the larger end of the egg, gently massage your vagina until you feel an opening sensation. Insert the egg as gently as possible. Slowly move in a turning and twisting motion until the egg is fully inserted into your yoni.

Once your egg is past your vaginal entrance, remove your hands and allow the egg to settle in naturally. There is no need to push the egg all the way up to your cervix like a tampon.

The idea is to work with your yoni so that it accepts the egg naturally. Do not try to push or force the egg in. Breathe in and breathe out and slowly allow the egg to go in. Be gentle with yourself.

Listen to your body. Always remember that yoni egg practice is about connecting with body and self.

Now that your egg is in, you can continue with your practice. You can now perform some yoni egg exercises, meditate, or go about your daily activities. Try not to leave the egg in for too long until you are more used to it.
