The process of trying to remove your jade egg or yoni egg is not always sexy. The yoni egg removal can be dependent upon your mood, your sacred space, and the mood of your yoni egg as well!
The best advice for yoni egg practice would be to “listen to your yoni”. In some instances, wearing the yoni egg may result in the sensation of you needing to go to the bathroom for a number two.
New to Yoni Eggs?
If you are new or a beginner to the yoni egg practice, you will find yourself facing the situation of needing to fish your yoni egg out of the toilet bowl every once in a while.
This is also why beginners to the yoni egg practice prefer drilled yoni eggs over undrilled eggs as they are able to hold on to the string when they use the bathroom.
The type of gemstone used to make the yoni egg such as rose quartz or obsidian does not affect how easily yoni eggs are removed.
There are also situations where the yoni egg wants to stay where it is. In this case, relax and let it work with you a little longer as long as it is not causing any pain or irritation. Try practicing your Kegel exercises or channeling your sexual energy. Again, listen to your yoni.
Removing Your Yoni Eggs
If you are wearing a drilled yoni egg, to remove it:
- Take a deep breath
- Exhale and let go of all negative energy
- Relax
- Gently pull the yoni egg out by the string attached to the drilled hole.
It is similar to removing a tampon. Let it glide out slowly and gently.
For those wearing an undrilled yoni egg:
- Simply cough, laugh, and bear down and the yoni egg will come out. Laughter is the best way as it relaxes the muscles and reduces stress. You may be in for a surprise at how easily your yoni egg comes out when laughing! Bearing down is similar to straining but instead involving the vaginal muscles.
- If that does not work, do not panic as the vagina is a closed system and the egg will not be lost inside you.
- If needed, you can use your fingers to scoop out the yoni egg. Slide your index and middle finger with your palms facing upwards and gently coax the yoni egg out.
- Next, try getting into a deep squatting position and push out using your vaginal muscles. The squatting position shortens the vaginal canal and enables you to remove the egg easily. You can also opt to stand or kneel; whichever position makes you feel most comfortable.
- Remember to relax as panicking tenses the pelvic floor muscles and can make it even more difficult for the egg to come out. The more you stress, the more tense you become. This tightens the muscles even more and pushes your yoni egg upwards. Remember that relaxation is key.
- If you are unsuccessful, take a few deep breaths before attempting to remove the yoni egg again.
- You can also try to massage your perineum to help the pelvic area relax.
With regular yoni egg practice, the yoni egg can be removed easily whenever you want to. Some women spend the whole day panicking about a stuck yoni egg only to have it come out on its own.
